CMS Templates

The Campus CMS provides templates that reflect UCSD branding and include content types allowing clients to display content in a variety of layouts. The content types available are described below:

Two Column Template

The following shows an example of the Two Column template. Side navigation on the left is omnipresent. It can be both dynamic, reflecting the taxonomy of the Web page, or static, hand-populated by the user. Text and images can be placed below the navigation.

Three Column Template

This layout is typically used for site home pages and section landing pages that have multiple content areas or blocks. This template works the same as the Two Column Template with the addition third column on the right side of the page.

Drawer Template

This layout lets you organize content into "drawers" or expandable / collapsible subsections in the center of the page. Each drawer consists of a Drawer Title, where you enter a given section's title text and a Drawer Body where you input its corresponding content. This template is ideal for lengthy content (such as FAQs).
